A few days ago, my friend and I, we visited a café named Filosofi Kopi. It located in Blok M, South Jakarta. So, basically, this café named after a movie called filosofi kopi.
When we went there at 10.00 a.m, the café wasn’t open yet. It open at 11.00 a.m that day. Since I’m not a coffee drinker, I order ice red velvet drink and chocolate pie. My friend order tiwus coffee brewed using pour over V60 method *I have no idea what it is*. He said that his coffee taste really good. I didn’t try it. The prices are affordable. My red velvet IDR 35.000, Chocolate Pie IDR 30.000, and Tiwus coffee around IDR 30.000.
My ice red velvet taste really good. It didn’t taste too milky which is I prefer that way, I didn’t like milk. The chocolate pie tastes great. For someone who really loves sweet will said that the pie isn’t sweet enough. But for me, it’s perfect.
The café itself is minimalist. It’s cozy and warm. Don’t expect that you can find wi-fi there. The concept of the café is as a place to talk. So you go there with your friend or whoever you want, order and enjoy the coffee, and talk to each other.
I definitely will go there again someday. Maybe real soon, since I really want to try their pandan velvet cake. So, if you are in Jakarta, don’t forget to visit filosofi kopi. It serves great coffee in a good place with great price.
